Double Page Spread Drawings and Layout Design
Double Page Spread Research and Font Research
I am aware that my research on double page spreads do not
link to each other or show any similarities. This is because with my research I
intended to look at very different approaches to the double page spread in
order to allow myself to have a visual of very different ideas for what I can
do with my double page spread.
Comparison of Research and Template
Here I am showing the comparison of my final contents page
and the research I followed to help me create it. It is clear I took many
aspects of the research contents page including the placements of the features,
the main theme colours used, the inclusion of a magazine logo and the inclusion
of the date and website in the right hand corner. I believe my final product is
very alike my research showing my ability to work by my research to use it
efficiently to produce my final product.
Development of my Contents Page
Here shows the development of my contents page. Firstly I made
the layout of the contents page without any content, this was so I was able to visualize where things would be placed before I produced any of the content for the page.
I then experimented with an image I had put together to see how the contents
page would look with the inclusion of an image in the main window. I then, in
the third draft, produced a copy with the worded content and the secondary
image on the contents page, this is the start of the main process of the
construction of my final contents page, and all I now have left to do is to
produce a photo-shoot for the main image included on the contents page.
